CALVIN STOVALL is President and CEO, dynamic speaker, leadership coach and trainer for The Professional Advantage, Inc. Mr. Stovall understands the importance of consistently delivering exceptional customer service and how it can drive an organization’s performance and positively impact the bottom line. With the increasingly changing consumer demands and expectations in today’s marketplace, it’s critical that all employees within an organization embrace a customer-centric approach to the way they interact with their key customers and clients, internally as well as externally. He truly understands the importance of building lasting relationships, and having real passion when working in the “people” business.

With more than 16 years in the hospitality industry, Calvin served as vice president of marketing with Hilton Hotels Corporation where he was responsible for the brand marketing and public relations efforts for more than 150 Homewood Suites by Hilton hotels. While under his leadership, Homewood Suites by Hilton was voted best in class by numerous consumer advocacy publications, including Consumer Reports® and recognized four times by J.D. Power and Associates® for its unwavering commitment to product and customer service quality.

Having had a highly-successful career in the hospitality industry, he and his wife, Taisha D. Stovall decided to launch their own venture to help companies that want to inspire their employees to deliver “fanatically relentless” customer service on a daily basis. They decided to relocate from Memphis, Tennessee to the thriving Twin Cities to market their products and services to the many Fortune 500 and mid-sized companies based in the Midwest.

Today, Mr. Stovall utilizes his hospitality and management expertise to help his clients better understand and appreciate the importance of delivering exceptional customer service everyday and how it can lead to competitive advantage. He also works closely with managers on leadership development, and teams to help them improve overall communication and effectiveness.

Mr. Stovall’s unwavering commitment to consistently deliver quality customer service to each and every client has contributed to the company’s continued growth and success. His infectious personality and high-energy approach brings excitement to every project.

Mr. Stovall holds a B.S. in Business Management from Chicago State University and a Master’s degree from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration. Mr. Stovall is a certified practitioner in administering and interpreting the PRO-360 Feedback Report, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument training tools.


Mr. Stovall is a professional member of the National Speakers Association and the American Society of Training and Development.
